Sameer Halani, MD, MSc

Dr. Halani is the son of Indian-immigrant parents and was born and raised in Metuchen, New Jersey. He attended the prestigious Emory University, in Atlanta, Georgia, for his undergraduate degree and went on to Boston, MA to complete his first Masters degree in Biomedical Sciences at Tufts University School of Medicine. He then returned to Emory University School of Medicine, where he graduated Cum Laude and was elected into the elite Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. During his medical school education, Dr. Halani was awarded a grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to fund his clinical research and funded his second Masters in Clinical Research.

After medical school, Dr. Halani trained at University of Texas Southwestern and Parkland Hospital in Dallas, TX, the #1 plastic surgery residency program in the country at the time. There, he began mastering his craft in aesthetic surgery, publishing research articles advancing the field of plastic surgery, and won multiple awards including the 2022 Best Paper of the Year Award for Head & Neck Reconstruction in the prestigious journal, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Halani offers the breadth of aesthetic plastic surgery procedures with a focus on cosmetic surgery of the face, breast, and body. A meticulous surgeon and perfectionist, Dr. Halani views his office as a sanctuary for beauty and elegance.

Dr. Halani has joined the practice of Dr. Yuki Nakamura, a renowned breast and body surgeon in Arlington, Texas. In his spare time, he enjoys learning about the biochemistry of wine, playing competitive tennis and golf, and traveling the world.
