Our State-of-the-Art Facility

Surgical procedures done in our office at the Accent On You Cosmetic Surgery Center are performed in AAAASF surgical center. These credentials certify that the best techniques will be used for your care and that your procedure is performed in a safe, sterile, nurturing environment. Our facility has a minimum of five nurses in the building to assist our patients before, during, and after surgery.

What is a AAAASF facility?

When it comes to accreditation, patient safety is of the greatest importance. An accredited surgery center meets strict guidelines for the safety of the environment, equipment, and personnel credentials. These guidelines significantly lower the risk of complications because patients are constantly monitored by licensed professionals who have access to all necessary medical equipment needed in case a problem arises during surgery. Accreditation is reevaluated yearly through a self-survey, and every three years with an on-site survey so that you can feel confident about the safety of your surgical environment and equipment used.

AAAASF Requirements

AAAASF (Quad A) is a global accreditation organization developed in 1977 by a committee within the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS). Their physician-founded and led organization has created the standard for high-quality healthcare in thousands of healthcare facilities. Accreditation requirements include:

  • All surgeons practice within their specialty and have hospital privileges

  • All staff members are fully licensed and certified

  • Anesthesia is administered by a professional anesthesiologist or an experienced CRNA

  • The surgical environment, equipment, drugs, and all other components are sterile and safe to use
