Education & Background

Dr. Halani is a board-certified plastic surgeon in New York City specializing in aesthetic surgery of the face, neck, breast, and body, with an expertise in deep plane facelift and deep structural neck lift techniques. Born and raised in New Jersey, Dr. Halani attended Emory University before earning a Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences at Tufts University School of Medicine. He returned to Emory for medical school, graduating cum laude and earning election to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. During medical school, he was awarded National Institutes of Health funding to pursue clinical research and completed a second Master’s degree in Clinical Research.

Dr. Halani offers a broad range of aesthetic plastic surgery and his New York City practice is particularly focused on facial rejuvenation and aesthetic breast surgery. His approach is grounded in a detailed understanding of facial anatomy and a belief that the best aesthetic surgery should restore while preserving your natural self. He is particularly focused on deep plane facelift, deep structural necklift, and advanced facial rejuvenation, with an emphasis on natural, refined, and lasting results.

TRAINING & EXPERTISE

He completed his plastic surgery training at UT Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Hospital in Dallas, the #1 training program in the country at the time, where he developed a particular interest in aesthetic surgery and facial rejuvenation. His work has earned national recognition, including the 2022 Best Paper of the Year Award in Head & Neck Reconstruction from Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, the field’s top research journal. He has also been recognized as a Top Doctor and Rising Star in plastic surgery and serves as an Expert Commentator for Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.
